Let Coastal Trust handle the books, so you can handle business.

I'm Kyle Castle — founder of Coastal Trust Business Advisors, former commercial lender, and remote accounting partner for home-service, trade, and agency owners. I clean up your books and manage your monthly accounting so your business is always tax-ready, lendable, and primed for growth.

Sound familiar?

You're not alone — and you don't have to be the one fixing it. I provide accurate, reliable bookkeeping so you can focus on what you do best: growing your business.

Why me? I've sat on the other side of the desk.

Before starting Coastal Trust, I spent years as a commercial lender at Oak Street Funding — underwriting loans and analyzing business valuations. Time and again, I watched incredibly hardworking owners — people who were absolute experts in their trades — get denied capital, fail to scale, or lose out on acquisitions simply because their back-office bookkeeping was a mess.

That realization became my "why." Small business owners don't just need a data-entry clerk — they need a strategic partner who understands what banks, buyers, and underwriters are looking for. Because I've reviewed businesses the way a lender sees them, I know how to structure your financials so they're always tax-ready, lendable, and primed for growth.

When I'm not digging into financial strategy for clients, I'm navigating life in Myrtle Beach, SC with my wife and our four kids.

Client success story

A new client came to me losing sleep over disorganized books — no idea where the money was going, and it was blocking key decisions. Within a few weeks, their books were cleaned up and they had a clear picture of their finances. They were finally able to make strategic investments and are now on track for significant growth.

Three tips you can use this week

Bookkeeping tip

The 15-minute habit

Keep business money in a business account — zero mixing — and reconcile weekly. Fifteen focused minutes on Friday beats a March panic, and clean books mean smarter decisions all year, not just cheaper taxes in spring.

Tax tip

Deductions you're probably losing

Track miles, tools, insurance, phone, and home-office costs as they happen — not in a shoebox. And if you're self-employed or an owner-operator, quarterly estimated payments keep the IRS from billing you penalties for "later."

QBO tip

Make QuickBooks do the work

Connect your bank feed, then set Rules for your repeat vendors so QBO categorizes on autopilot. Reconcile monthly, snap receipts with the mobile app — and your April self will thank you.

Let's talk about your books.

Your first conversation is free — a real 30 minutes with a real person (me). No call center. No 47-question intake form. And if you know an owner drowning in their books, send them my way.

Pick a time that works for you.
